DAY 1
COLOMBO/NEGOMBO
Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will be welcomed by a representative of Sri Lanka Escapes. Let your adventure and journey begin.
Sri Lanka is home to at least 8 UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites. Five of these ancient sites are situated in what is known as the cultural triangle, in the centre of the island. Sigiriya is the gateway to Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. Transfer to your hotel to relax.

DAY 2
NEGOMBO/SIGIRIYA
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be met by your experienced Chauffeur who will be with you for the duration of trip. He is a local with exceptional years of experience and knowledge and very excited to show his beautiful country.
Morning city tour of Negombo is set alongside a picturesque lagoon and canals built by the Dutch colonies. Negombo was a very important port for the trade of cinnamon and was ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch, and British empires.
Drive past the famous seafood markets with the fisherman selling their catch as we venture to Sigiriya, Sri Lanka is home to at least 8 UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites. Dambulla was named a UNESCO World Heritage site for its Buddhist caves perched at the top of a hill. A bonus is the beautiful panoramic view that you get of the surrounding area. Visit the stunning Cave Temples of Dambulla, built by King Valagamba back in the 1st century BC. Dambulla is named a UNESCO World Heritage site for its Buddhist caves perched at the top of a hill.
It is worth the climb to see the 5 caves and stunning temples filled with over 150 colorful religious statues and paintings while experiencing the beautiful panoramic views. The monastic ensemble of Dambulla is an outstanding example of the religious art and expression of Sri Lanka and South and Southeast Asia. Then we can take a stroll through Dambulla Market and discover new fruits and vegetables if time permits. Afternoon, arrive at your hotel and have time to relax.
Optional - Time to wind down and enjoy an optional traditional Ayurvedic massage, commonly known as "Abhyanga", is a full-body massage performed using warm, medicinal oils, which aims to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. DAY 3
Bullock ride Sigiriya rice plantations
SIGIRIYA
Today our adventures begin as we visit a local village and enjoy a bullock cart ride through the rice plantation making our way by boat as we enjoy gliding gracefully past the beautiful lily pads. We exit the boat and walk a little way to see local farm and rice fields. Learn the secrets from the locals how to cook delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry and coconut roti with wood fire. We also have the opportunity to experience how you can hull the rice as it has been done for generations and enjoy a local traditional lunch curry, roti and fruits.
After lunch, we will join an adventurous Elephant Wildlife Safari to see the wild elephant in a 4 x 4 Jeep. This is one of the most exciting safari experiences in Sri Lanka and a highlight.

DAY 4
SIGIRIYA – BEACH
This morning after a leisurely breakfast, enjoy an opportunity experience with Optional Bath and Wash an elephant. We continue on with a road trip of beautiful view points and scenery travelling through the town to see temples and culture and traditions. The art and cultural activities will give you an insight into the city's history, traditions, and artwork.
Visit a Hindu Temple - a popular place of worship in Sri Lanka
The temples goes way back to the 6th century BC. Arrive at your hotel and relax by the beach.

This morning, enjoy the beautiful sunrise with a delicious breakfast with a free day to enjoy the serenity of the beach or sit around the pool with complete relaxation. Optional snorkelling, scuba diving or whale/dolphin watching

After a leisurely breakfast, we will make our way to Negombo fishing village and enjoy a city tour. Transfer to your complimentary transit hotel to freshen up priror to your flights.
Transfer to Colombo International Airport to connect with your homeward bound flight.
