DAY 1
COLOMBO -SIGIRIYA
Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative of Sri Lanka Escapes. You will be welcomed by your experienced Chauffeur who will be with you for the duration of trip. He is a local with exceptional years of experience and knowledge and very excited to show his beautiful country. Let your adventure and journey begin. Sri Lanka is home to at least 8 UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites. Five of these ancient sites are situated in what is known as the cultural triangle, in the centre of the island. DAY 2
SIGIRIYA
Today the adventures begin as we visit a local village and enjoy a bullock cart ride through the rice plantation making our way by boat as we enjoy gliding gracefully past the beautiful lily pads. We exit the boat and walk a little way to see local farm and rice fields. Learn the secrets from the locals how to cook delicious Sri Lankan green curry and coconut roti with wood fire. We also have the opportunity to experience how you can hull the rice as it has been done for generations and enjoy a local traditional lunch curry, roti and fruits.
After lunch, we will join an adventurous Wildlife Safari to see the wild elephants. This is one of the most exciting safari experiences in Sri Lanka and a highlight. An opportunity to take photos up close and personal photos to share with family and friends. Includes Breakfast/Dinner.

DAY 3
SIGIRIYA – TRINCOMALEE
This morning we travel to the beautiful beach town of Trincomalee. On our way we will visit Trincomalee town to see temples and culture and traditions of east Sri Lanka. The art and cultural activities in Trincomalee will give you an insight into the city's history, traditions and artwork. Visit The Koneswaram Temple - a popular place of worship in Sri Lanka and is one of the Pancha Ishwarams (five abodes) of Lord Shiva. The earliest mention of the temple goes way back to the 6th century BC. Arrive in your hotel and relax by the pool or beach. Includes Breakfast.

DAY 4
TRINCOMALEE
Free day and relax at the pool in your resort or on the beach. Trincomalee is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is located in the northeast of Sri Lanka. Due to its location, the city forms a natural harbour. This city is surrounded by vast sandy beaches that lie both north and south of Trincomalee. The most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka can be found here. Kilometres of beaches with white sand, palm trees and warm water in the sea, a true paradise. Includes Breakfast.
DAY 5
TRINCOMALEE
This morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise with a delicious breakfast with a free day to enjoy the serenity of the beach or sit around the pool with complete relaxation.
Late morning enjoy local culture with a hands on cooking class learning the secrets and tasting the delights of Sri Lanka’s delicious homemade curry. Return to your hotel and relax with free time. Includes Breakfast.

Whale Watching
TRINCOMALEE
Today is a free day and relax or choose to take an optional boat trip to Pigeon island or rise early for optional Whale Watching adventure. Pigeon Island National Park comprises two islands, a breeding and feeding ground for over 300 species of coral reef fish keeping the colourful underwater symphony alive. Whale watching adventure gives you the opportunity to Blue Whales, Sperm Whales, Killer Whales or Fin Whales. With the opportunity to see pods of friendly Dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins and Striped dolphins as they playfully somersault and dance on the ocean waves. In the afternoon relax at the beach or sit around the pool. Includes Breakfast.
DAY 7
TRINCOMALEE COLOMBO AIRPORT
Farewell to beautiful Sri Lanka and transfer to International Airport to connect with your homeward bound flight. Includes Breakfast/Dinner
